Statement from Justin Bieber: Singer is not a victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs

Justin Bieber has released a statement following social media speculation that he was a victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs.

After numerous rumors, Justin Bieber (31) has broken his silence: He was never a victim of Sean "Diddy" Combs (55), a spokesperson for the singer told the US celebrity portal "TMZ ." Combs is currently on trial in New York, where the former music mogul is accused of conspiracy to commit organized crime, prostitution, and sex trafficking, among other charges. He denies the allegations.

"Justin was not one of Sean Combs' victims"

The 55-year-old is said to have helped Justin Bieber break into the music industry at the age of 15. The statement from Bieber's spokesperson now reads: "Although Justin is not one of Sean Combs' victims, there are people who were truly harmed by him. Shifting the focus away from this reality distracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve."

According to TMZ, several anonymous sources said to be close to the 31-year-old also contradicted the rumors that had apparently spread online. According to the insiders, Combs' and Bieber's public appearances were purely professional. In recent months, Justin Bieber's fans had expressed concern on social media, and there was also much speculation about the singer's allegedly increasingly neglected appearance.

Trial against Sean Combs continues

Meanwhile, the trial against Sean Combs in New York continued with the cross-examination of Casandra "Cassie" Ventura (38), the defendant's ex-girlfriend. She had previously accused him of rape, blackmail, sexual humiliation, and physical abuse.

Sean Combs was arrested in September 2024. According to US media reports, law enforcement authorities accuse him of threatening and abusing people between 2004 and 2024. In addition to the charges in New York, there are numerous civil lawsuits against the former music mogul.
